The options are, "Demo", "Off", "Play". The play option depends on how long you press the button. It can do 1 crack, or play as long as it goes. Demo does not depend. It just plays a portion. It has a strap, wich attaches to belt loops. The secret is that it goes through the loop, and attaches to itself with velcrow. Made of rubber, cousiony material, and plastic. Go go go buy it! I was right. Let's face it, the thing you really want in any Indiana Jones set is Indy itself (whit his fedora, gun, whip, and attitude); every set in the line has him, but I really don't like their diorama style construction, I would rather prefer to have some complete construction similar to other lego toys. This reduce it to this set or the one with the truck. I choose this set because a) it's the cheapier set of the line, b) it also comes with Henry Jones senior, and thats a very cool character and c)a motorcycle with sidecar it's a very classy vehicle.

My grandson, at 5 1/2, has conquered sets past the age recommended on the package. It gives us time together, working quietly and talking about "Lego's and Life" while watching him get the satisfaction that he actually built the toy he gets to play with. We also glue many of the parts to make them more durable in his play scenarios.

It is a great bag for him. It is a bit smaller than it seems in the picture (about 8x10), but the strap is long so it would work for an older child as well.The quality is actually really good for the price. The only thing I wish it had was an adjustable strap (I just used a saftey pin to make the strap shorter). My son can carry toys around in it now and I will be interested to see how it holds up to all the halloween candy it will carry in the future.

It's very fun and fast. There is a sword holder that spins. The tent is ok, its a little challenging. The table can break with a sword easy. The table goes together with two peaces that slide together. The fire is kind of hard. But other than that it is a nice lego set.

He is sturdy and well made and my 5 yr old loves the fact that he has his whip and his favorite part is that he talks. Indy is a great role model and although there are a few scary parts in some of these movies, he is still an American hero working for the good. There are references to the Bible, lessons in history, no cussing and no sex scenes...a true wonderful role model for the new upcoming generation.
